Welcome to Sludge Buoy Systems
Sludge BuoyTM (SB) is a new standard coming out to ships. It enables pumping out oil from the top of the tank rather from the bottom.
The result is:
- The water left in the tank is much cleaner and easier to process in the bilge water separator.
- The oil that is being pumped out is not water whipped. The water content in the oil pumped out with SB is very low and does not need to be further treated for incineration.
